The base is a natural undyed cotton/linen blend — unbleached, open-weave, the kind of fabric that makes handwork feel at home. A raw edge applique panel sits at the center: a rosy-headed songbird perched on a cream hydrangea, deep green leaves layered in beside it, the edges left raw and outlined in pink running stitch. Gold, cream, and green embroidered details scatter across the panel. More pink stitching trails down the right side of the cover in a quiet column of dashes.

The closure is a yellow elastic belly band with two charms — a small red butterfly and a shimmering pink flower with a pearl center, both on gold findings. A white pen tucks into the side band.

Inside, modern pink floral lining with slip flaps sized for a 2.5″ x 4″ mini hardcover journal, which is included. The cover is reusable. Stamped hello.aj on the inside back cover. Cover size: 3″ x 4.75″.
